Man what a day we had today. We would like to thank TTC Newbern and TTC Crump for coming to McKenzie and competing in the fifth robot wars, also special thanks to TTC Hohenwald for coming and judging the contest.

Counselor's Corner


Michael Evans a Senior at McKenzie High School and a student in our Electronics Class has signed up to join the US Marines after graduation. Evans reports to Paris Island SC for basic training July 21. Michael's interest outside of school are computer gaming and gymnastics.

The Technology Center was alive Tuesday Afternoon as the region 1 and 2 FFA Skills Competition was held on campus. Schools who competed were Dresden, Martin Westview, Obion County Central, Gleason, Clarksburg, West Carroll, and Henry County. The staff and faculty of the TTC McKenzie were pleased with the skills these students had and there drive to win.

Welcome New Electronics Instructor

The Tennessee Technology Center at McKenzie is pleased to announce that Bruce Moore has been hired as the instructor for the Electronics program.

“We are excited to have someone with Bruce’s experience and technical background working with our students,” said Director Elizabeth Check. Moore began his career in the United States Army, where he spent 20 years before retiring with the rank of 1st Sergeant. Moore currently resides in Milan with his wife Debra. The Moore’s have four sons and four grandchildren.

Everyone come by and welcome Bruce to the TTC Family.
