Spring 11 Awards Day






The Spring Trimester at the Tennessee Technology Center at McKenzie ended with Awards Day on April 20th. The ceremony, organized and sponsored by the campus-wide Student Senate, was held at the McKenzie Cumberland Presbyterian Church and led by the Center’s director Dr. Brad White. Opening remarks were made by Student Senate President Brian Cruse.

A total of 65 students received their diplomas or final certificates and numerous others were recognized for completing certificate levels during the Spring 2011 Trimester. Also recognized during the ceremony were students who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, and students who attained Perfect Attendance.

The students who completed requirements for graduation are: Automotive Technology- Joseph Bell, Gregory Camper, Larry Eaton, Brent Gordon, Joshua Hugueley, Bradley Hupp, Tracy Savage; Bio-Medical- Tyrone Armstrong, Nathanael Hensley, Terry Hoggard, Shawn Powers, Charles Prestwood, Tonia Stoltz; Business Systems McKenzie- Janet Guerrieri, Maria Puentes, Doris Berryhill, Kimberly Marr, Barbara Owens, Nicole Taylor; Business Systems Weakley County- Betty Pannell, Judy Corum, Gary Brown, Britney Taylor, Sarah Shrout, Cinnamon Wilson, Russell Horn, Dana Skelton, Stacy Smith, Donna Pannell; Computer Information- Spencer Johnson, Bobby Baker, Lucy Snead; Green Electronics- Barry Doster, Wyatt Brooks, Correna Dycus, Kevin Newsome, Randy Turner, Jonathan Lessenberry, Brian Cruse, Richard Ferrell, Joseph Shattuck, Howard Webber, Clinton Fesmire, Thomas Dailey Jr., Troy Grimes, Andrew Stockdale; HVAC/Refrigeration- William Pennington, Brian Butler, Mark Reed, Calvin Cox, Danny Scott, Michael Warren; Industrial Maintenance Weakley County- Jeffrey Axley, Zachary Cunningham, James Dowden; Machine Tool- Jeffrey Barnes, Matthew Chapman, Thomas Garner Jr.; Welding- Taylor Ryan, Benjamin Hart, Daniel Henley, Michael Scott, Chad Mann, William Ellis, Desmond Townes .

Seven students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. Honor Society inductees include Gregory Camper, Ryan Hickman, Kevin Mitchell, Stacy Smith, Britney Taylor, Derek Box, and Brian Green.

Sixteen students were recognized for achieving perfect attendance during the previous Fall Trimester. Those receiving Perfect Attendance certificates were Corey Nooner, Theresa Horton, Jamie Holloman, Hunter Savage, Bradley Stafford, Brian Cruse, Howard Webber, Troy Grimes, Rose Pettie, Michael Warren, Steven Young, Steven Lassiter, Jeffrey Axley, James Dowden, and Robert Reed .
