Spring Awards Day Pictures




Spring Awards Day


The Spring Trimester at the Tennessee Technology Center at McKenzie ended with Awards Day on April 20th. The ceremony, organized and sponsored by the campus-wide Student Senate, was held at the McKenzie Cumberland Presbyterian Church and led by the Center’s director Dr. Brad White. Opening remarks were made by Student Senate President TJ Dailey.

A total of 50 students received their diplomas or final certificates and numerous others were recognized for completing certificate levels during the Spring 2012 Trimester. Also recognized during the ceremony were students who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, and students who attained Perfect Attendance.

The students who completed requirements for graduation are: Automotive Technology- Joseph Cole, Shawn Eaton, Kendall Willis; Bio-Medical- Wallace Becton; Business Systems McKenzie- Teresa Cary, Anita Haskins, Jessica Lambert, Angela Ezell, Ashley Carter, Annette Stokes, Dana Burns, Brittany Lott; Business Systems Weakley County- Teresa Sands, Karen Harris-Webb, Joyce Graves, Crystal Winstead; Business Systems Online- Loren French, Selena Holland; Computer Information- Christopher Hinton, Bradley Stafford, Waylon Williams; Green Electronics- April Weeks; HVAC/Refrigeration- Joseph Henderson, James Higdon, Damon Morgan, Rose Pettie, Nicholas Wilson, Colton Pierce; Industrial Maintenance Weakley County- David Ballard, Joshua Brooks, Steven Young; Industrial Maintenance- Michael Cunningham, Tammy Holley, Tyler Vandiver, Ricco Dunlap, John Lanigan, Courtney Halliburton, John Thornton; Machine Tool- Anthony Carter, Raymond LeBlanc, Debbie Burns, Roger Mason, Michael Cary, Justin Duncan.; Welding- Justin Coffman, Jason Agent, Nicholas Arneson, Alex Vanmeter, Cody Parker, Trevor Warbritton.

Six students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. Honor Society inductees include Kendall Willis, Shawn Eaton, Stacy Cullipher, Melanie Early, Valeria Yarbrough and Norma Mitchell.

Seventeen students were recognized for achieving perfect attendance during the previous Fall Trimester. Those receiving Perfect Attendance certificates were Matthew Cary, Adam Askew, Randall Adkisson, Valeria Yarbrough, Norma Mitchell, William Hall, Seneca Williams, Virgil Tuck, William Adams, David Fortson, Kenneth Driver, Garrett Greer, William White, Jeffrey Axley, Raymond Haney, Brian Morgan and William Lowe.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in honor of the graduates and their families.
