Community Service

Community Service coupled with Hands On Training is a WIN WIN for everyone involved! TCAT McKenzie Industrial Maintenance students, along with their instructor Bob Donald and Assistant Instructor Garry Barnhill, installed a power grid for the City of McKenzie’s Southern Fried and Sweet Tea Festival. The festival is being held August 19th and 20th on the square in McKenzie. There will be music, vendors, food, and a plethora of events. With the additional lighting, concessions, music, vendors, etc., the added power panel and meter base ensures there will be enough outlets to power these additions.
The students involved with the project were Tyler Holt, Blake Cobb, Trevor Stout, David Capps and Isaiah Croom.

National Technical Honor Society Induction Ceremony

Congratulations to TCAT McKenzie's Summer Trimester National Technical Honor Society industees. In order to be considered for the NTHS a student must maintain an A average, have good attendance the previous trimester and they must also earn their instructor's recommendation.
