FUN DAY A HUGE SUCCESS

Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed FUN DAY on Thursday the 29th. A Special Thanks goes to the MTD grilling team, and Army National Guard for bringing the Rock Wall.

Bio-Med Students Visit Henry School

David Critchlow and Kenny Kennon brought Robots to show students some of the fun things you can do in the electronics and Bio-Med class. Thanks to Henry School for inviting us to there Career Day.

Two Bio-Med students pass CET exam

Two students in the BioMedical Electronics Technology program at the Tennessee Technology Center at McKenzie recently passed the Certified Electronics Technician exam.

The students are Kelly Guest of Milan, and Brian Laderman of Martin. Instructor Donald Gearin is recently certified to give the exam.

The TTC-McKenzie is a testing site authorized by the Electronics Technicians Association for this exam. These two successfully completed the associate level of the four-part exam, which is for an electronics technician or students with less than two years of combined work and/or electronics training.

“This lets potential employers know that the student who has passed this exam has been thoroughly trained and can demonstrate professional proficiency,” explained Exam administrator Donald Gearin.
