WMC HOD Press Release

WMC TV 5 out of Memphis came and interviewed Donald Gearin and Bruce Moore about the HOD(Hydrogen on Demand) Program on Tuesday August 26th.

Perfect Attendance Spring 08

Eighteen students achieved perfect attendance during the Spring Trimester at the Tennessee Technology Center at McKenzie.

Listed by there courses of study, the students are Automotive Technology- Justin Oakes, Shawn Collins; Bio-Medical- Kurt Thomas, David Critchlow, Kenny Kennon, Brian Laderman, Donna Sanders, James Newhouse; Business Systems McKenzie-April Depriest; Business Systems Martin- Debbie Hodge; Computer Information- Cody Martin; HVAC- Zackery Cox, Randy Willis; Industrial Maintenance McKenzie- Jimmie Moore, Ricky Wallace, Jonathan Moyers; Machine Tool- Ronnie Parrott; Practical Nursing- Jennifer Neisler.

Welding Cookout

Jimmy Kee's Welding class held a cookout on Friday the 8th with guest Speaker Greg Crouse of the United Ironworkers Local 167 out of Memphis. Guys the food was delicious.

SPEED Program Keeps on Moving

The SPEED Program is having great Success in the 1st year of competing at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood currently the team sits in Fourth place in the points race. The Team is made up of Eric Essary(Driver), Shawn Collins,Kenny Brewer, Jesse James, and Brandon Schultek. The team races every Saturday and we hope to have a school night at the races in the near future.
