Fall 2011 Awards Day
The Fall Trimester at the Tennessee Technology Center at McKenzie ended with Awards Day on December 15th. The ceremony, organized and sponsored by the campus-wide Student Senate, was held at the McKenzie Cumberland Presbyterian Church and led by the Center’s Assistant Director Danny Hudson.
A total of 45 students received their diplomas or final certificates and numerous others were recognized for completing certificate levels during the fall 2011 Trimester. Also recognized during the ceremony were students who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society, and students who attained Perfect Attendance.
The students who completed requirements for graduation are: Automotive Technology-Justin Knight, Robert T. Owens; Bio-Medical-Kenneth Koontz, Scott Jones, Tonia Stoltz, Shawn Powers, Sabine King; Business Systems McKenzie-Sharon Perry, Tina Boykin, Margarita Gonzalez, Jay Ann Johnson; Business Systems Weakley County-April Agent, Tracy Gruggett, Mary Cole, Kandace Smith, Holly Charland, Amanda Nutting; Computer Information- Christopher Bunch, Nikki Lanigan, John Lanigan, Tina Hicks, Wesley Tyson; Green Electronics- Steven Clement; HVAC/Refrigeration- Marcus Norman, David Fortson; Industrial Maintenance McKenzie- Cody Mooney, Brandon Katon, Frank Long, Dennis Ogden, Clint Vaughn, Kenny Allen, Jeffrey Forrest, Robert Nelson, Wesley Price, Jamie Williams; Industrial Maintenance Weakley County- William Baker, Reginald Pate, Brian West; Machine Tool- Jason Tims, Brian Green, Brandon Earls, Billy Little; Welding- Cy Hunter, Jason Hicks, Justin Reynolds.
Fourteen students were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society. Honor Society inductees include Isaac McMackin, Amber Lyle, Jay Ann Johnson, Margarita Gonzalez, Teresa Cary, Danita Billings, LaQuandra Thomas, Randall Adkisson, Karen Harris-Webb, Jimmy Tosh, Joseph Redmond, Robert Hubble, David Fortson, and Joshua Brooks.
Eight students were recognized for achieving perfect attendance during the previous Summer Trimester. Those receiving Perfect Attendance certificates were Paul Blenis, Teresa Cary, Theresa Horton, Virgil Tuck, Jonathan McKinney, Neil Mondesir, Jimmy Tosh, and Jacob McClain.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held in honor of the graduates and their families.

Summer 11 Awards Day
The Summer Trimester at the Tennessee Technology Center at McKenzie ended with Awards Day on August 25th. The ceremony, organized and sponsored by the campus-wide Student Senate, was held at the McKenzie Cumberland Presbyterian Church and led by the Center’s director Dr. Brad White.

Student Senate Community Service Project
On Tuesday February 22nd 10 members of the schools Student Senate painted, pressure washed, and did landscaping at Oak Manor Health care in McKenzie. We would just like to recognize them for all there hard work. Students Brian Cruse, Nikki Taylor, Catherine Cantrell, Richard Ferrell, Brian Green, Tyrone Armstrong, Kevin Mitchell, Dereck Box, Nick Wilson, and John Mitchell really did a great job.
